Summer...Sad its over, but we had fun

This summer we lived with Anthony's parents as we awaited to hear back from law schools. We got good news...Anthony was accepted to Thomas M. Cooley law school!!! We had a fun summer being so close to our families. They were all so close that we didn't even bother updating our blog until we left. Sorry for the rest of you who were waiting.
So here are some of the highlights of our summer. It has been amazing watching Anna learn and grow in such a short amount of time.

Anna's first solids....I think she liked it. This pic is special to me because it was the front of my first real Mother's Day Card.

We went and fed the ducks at the park in Ontario with our neice Taylor. The Geese were a little scary, but it didn't even phase Anna. Taylor and Alexie were a little freaked, though.

Anna and Grandpa were buddies from the beginning. Anna misses you Grandpa!

We stopped at the Gorge on our way back from Rexburg when Elizabeth went to the Temple. It was really hot. Anna wanted us to pull a Micheal Jackson stunt, but we decided it wouldn't be a good idea...maybe next time. ;-)

We stopped at Shoshone Falls on our way to Rexburg. It was beautiful. Anna was just glad to get out of her car seat!

We also stopped at the Twinfalls Temple on our way to Rexburg. On the road to Elizabeth's wedding we went to the actual openhouse. Anna's second open house, Rexburg Temple being her first.

This picture was taken at the Malheur County Pretty Baby Contest. Anna didn't win, be she won in our book! This is also the day she discovered she likes grass.

This year a bunch of Frys went camping in Utah. Even Erick came out to visit. Christina and the kids came to the Fry home a week later. We had tons of fun!!! Alexie and the girls played with makeup and we all went to the fair!

The Big Event!!!
The new Mr. and Mrs. Scott Hale
Alexie's sister, Elizabeth, married Scott Hale. Aren't they cute together? Anna was the most beautiful flower girl ever!! She was just a very tired girl. See her rubbing her eyes?

This is Anna saying, "I want out of this uncomfortable dress." Elizabeth might be thinking the same thing.

Three generations. Can you see the resemblance? Or maybe it's because we are all wearing brown? Either way it's precious.

Well that was an abridged version of our summer. We are sorry to anyone we may have left out. We have alot of catching up to do, so stay tuned for coming attractions.!!!

Videos and a Strange Tree

Here are a couple of short clips of Anna. The first one proves that she is a girl--emotional. Sad one moment, happy the next. Then we wanted to show you how good she is at taking her antibiotic (or Annabiotic as we call it) but she decided to spit it out everywhere the one time we video her.

And then this strange tree that was growing in our backyard.....

.....If only this really was our backyard...or if we even had a backyard. This was actually from my field trip to see the great agriculture of California a couple of weeks ago. I thought the palm trees everywhere were cool.

Blessing Day

On February 10th our little Anna was blessed. It was a special day because that was the same day the Rexburg Temple was dedicated. We hadn't planned it that way, but President Hinckley's funeral pushed back the temple dedication. So there wasn't any church, but we came and blessed Anna anyway in an empty chapel. It worked out because some family was able to go to the dedication too. Here are some pictures from that day.

Anna was thrilled....
